The 2002 Odyssey of the Mind Challenge
Take materials given and create an object that will travel the farthest distance in bounds. Part 1 of the
competition: Part 2 of the
competition: After flight, the distance the object travels will be measured from the foul line to the farthest point away on the resting object. The Object must stop completely before a measurement is taken. Objects that stop out of bounds are considered disqualified. Objects that hit the ground out of bounds but stop in bounds are legal attempts. Objects that are touching the line in anyway are considered in bounds. In event of a tie, judges will decide the winner on objects style points and aesthetics. |
