The soft ground created by the rain made for record distances
at The Egg Toss. Jerry came to play.
(Replay shows foot on the line...lucky for Jerry there's no replay at L.O.)

Winners List

Josh and Jerry defeated Barb Cash and Dickie McLeod to take the
trophies. On a controversial ruling, Cash-Mcleod was disqualified
after failing to catch numerous long distance tosses.
(Barb was quoted as saying "Just hit me with it so it will break")

Winners List

Grill Master Andy, while busy cooking, received 18 byes to reach
the finals without playing one tournament game. (not really, but close)

Winners List

In her first year competing at L.O. Sherri navigated through a tough
field to emerge victorious in one of the toughest events...Cribbage.

Winners List

O.O.T.M. reached a major milestone this year. For the first time ever
the event had no controversy. It was destiny for Brad Jones to win
after giving us a taste of his throwing talent 2 years ago.

Winners List

Hopefully we won't find these at the Salvation Army.
(ask Kari about the shirt...)

Winners List

The Wiffleball contest was once again won by only one dinger.
Total homeruns were low this year with Joe only hitting 3 to win.
Don't worry folks, The God of Fire is slated to pitch next year.

Winners List

Interesting enough Joe pitch to all of the other batters but himself.

Winners List

Barb "Casino" Cash took no prisoners in the largest game of Pass
The Trash ever. Here, in the last deal against Laurie, Barb reveals the king
that nails the coffin shut. Although she will not admit it, witnesses reported
Mrs. Cash stuffing the $47 dollar booty in to the LO Fund Jar. Sneaky Saint!

Winners List

This years decision to use stonedust instead of sand was met with
mixed reviews. Todd and Jerry seemed to adapt fine as they tore
through the brackets knocking out the former champs, Frank and Jeremy
along with countless others.

Winners List

Jerry Charest, our only two event winner this year, congratulates
partner Todd Peacock.

Winners List

The battle of the woman-with-child was ferocious as Dee and Kelly chose the
high drama game of croquet to settle the score.

Winners List

The trophy stays in the Seitz family much to the Mark's chagrin (Dee is Mark
Seitz' sister...she's married... hence the name Sullivan...anyway).
You can bet it was a long ride home for Keri and Frank (...the spouses...)

Winners List

Treasure Hunt was kind of a debacle this year. I think these golden balls
were passed around more than a bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy's on prom night.
Oh well, congratulations to the gang who had them when the music stopped.

Winners List

Our most popular new event. Definitely a crowd pleaser.

Winners List

Though whispers of ballot stuffing filled the food tent, Julia was crowned
the winner of the first L.O. Dessert Contest with her now (in)famous
Whiskey Cake (click to get the recipe)

Winners List

Although many Lawn Olympians brought bonnets for the Hat Contest, the gods
failed to properly judge the event. After the awards ceremony, Adin presented
a hat that we felt deserved the unofficial title of best hat 02.

Winners List

Clan 'Pone' became the first group to gain the title of #1 Clan.
With big names like Charest, Seitz and French some are calling this the
beginning of a clan dynasty.
